The GC Salinas de Antigua was skilfully integrated into the dune landscape of the coast by the double world champion Manuel Piñeiro. He clearly had the intention to defy the wind conditions of the island. The 18-hole par 70 course has partly desert-like zones, 4 lakes and the flora matches the arid surrounding area.
